If you haven’t hit up a Wednesday night at Kitchen 305, let us tell you that Lobster Wednesday is a must try. Michelle, the Saucy Diva and Christine, the Spicy Diva take you front and center to check out the cuisine and atmosphere at the Sunny Isles hot spot. Kitchen 305 is located inside the Newport Beach Resort steps from the beautiful scenic views of the ocean. To kick off their Wednesday night the Divas sampled
the popular wine line, South Beach Wines. Michelle was definitely a huge fan of the newest wine to hit the line, Suave. Christine leaned more to the red blend, Lincoln Road Red. The wines are made with a muskadine grape that is native to Florida. This particular grape gives the wine a naturally sweeter taste. The very talented bartender “Amazing Grace” also made the Divas some very fun sangrias out of the wine that were supperb. Next time your in the area stop by and try one! Its worth the stop.
The girls hit up the kitchen next to see what chef Julius was cooking up for their special guest, Foody Fetish. Lets just say we could of fed a small army with the feast he made. From the buffalo mozzarella caprese salad with colorful tomatoes to the tuna nachos with wonton chips topped with the works, there was something for everyone.
The Divas may not have been the best at dispersing the sauce, as you see on the show but the nachos tasted amazing either way. Then the chef brought out the main dishes which of course really wet some palettes. The chimicurri steak paired with fried yucca was perfect. The american lobsters were tender and the branzino was flavorful. Chef Julius really sauced it up.
Once Foody Fetish arrived the grub down began. They found out that Yanni, owner of the very popular Foody Fetish instagram with over 3 million followers, was actually a some what timid guy and rather thin for a big foodie. He explained you have to really work out hard to keep eating the way he does. Ok Yanni lesson learned, to the gym we go.
